Protocols
Agent2Agent protocol
A2A defines communication patterns for agents that delegate and exchange task state.
How it works
It gives independent agent systems a shared way to advertise capabilities and manage tasks. It does not prescribe each agent’s internal reasoning loop.
A concrete example
Illustrative: a client sends one task, receives 3 status updates, then obtains one artifact.
Do not confuse it with MCP
A2A coordinates agents and tasks; MCP connects applications to tools and resources.
