Evaluation
Accuracy
Accuracy is the fraction of predictions that are correct.
How it works
It treats every evaluated example as one equal decision. On imbalanced data, high accuracy can hide failure on a rare class.
A concrete example
Illustrative: 920 correct predictions among 1,000 examples give accuracy 0.92.
Do not confuse it with Precision
accuracy covers all predictions; precision focuses on predicted positives.
