Agents
Supervisor agent
A supervisor agent routes work, monitors progress, and decides when to stop or escalate.
How it works
It maintains task-level state while workers focus on bounded subtasks. A poor supervisor can become a bottleneck or hide worker failures.
A concrete example
Illustrative: route 8 requests across 3 specialists, retry 1 failure, and escalate 1 ambiguous case.
Do not confuse it with Router
a router selects a destination; a supervisor also tracks execution and outcomes.
