Fundamentals
Feature
A feature is a measurable input supplied to a model.
How it works
Features turn raw observations into values a model can use. Their representation determines which patterns are easy for the model to learn.
A concrete example
Illustrative: a house model receives 1,400 ft², 3 bedrooms, and age 12 years.
Do not confuse it with Label
a feature is an input; a label is the target output.
